Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile apps using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms

• Implement real-time chat, group messaging, media sharing, push notifications, and other user-facing features

• Integrate with REST APIs, Firebase, WebSocket/Socket.io, and third-party SDKs (e.g., Agora, Twilio)

• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency

• Ensure app security practices such as end-to-end encryption, secure storage, and data protection

• Collaborate with backend engineers and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless user experiences

• Handle debugging, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance

Skills Required

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

• Experience with React Native, including at least one published app on Play Store and App Store

• Familiarity with state management tools like Redux, MobX, Recoil, or Zustand

• Experience working with Firebase/Firestore (Auth, Push Notifications, Storage)

• Comfortable integrating with REST APIs and WebSocket/Socket.io

• Exposure to VoIP, WebRTC, or SDKs like Agora or Twilio

• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills

• Understanding of app security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience working in a startup or agile team environment

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
